Wisconsin's Republican leaders had high praise for Gov. Scott Walker during Saturday's GOP state convention, fueling speculation that the governor is poised to make a run for the presidency in 2016.

About 1,000 Republican Party members gathered in Rothschild at the Patriot Center for the convention to discuss the future of the party. The state's most popular Republican politicos hailed Walker for his work on overhauling public employees' collective bargaining powers in the state and the $484 million budget surplus the state has realized.
