Ambassadors promote importance of agriculture

The Agricultural Ambassador Program is wrapping up the 2012-13 school year that encompassed more than 500 classroom visits to area schools educating both students and teachers about the importance of agriculture. As I finish up my eighth year making school presentations, I am still amazed by the students' current knowledge of agriculture and their incredible willingness to learn how agriculture affects their daily lives.
