Meghna Kurup has earned a 4.00 grade point average while completing the most rigorous coursework offered. “I call her The Amazing Meghna Kurup. Her intelligence extends far beyond facts, statistics, or traditional academics. She is able to quickly assimilate any instruction, and perfect her knowledge through experience,” writes Mr. Taft. She has maintained academic excellence in Southwest High School’s most challenging classes while being active on the Math Team, Physics Club, Academic Decathlon, National Honor Society, Student Council and the Tennis Team. She has demonstrated leadership through her involvement as student council representative and as president of National Honor Society. Meghna has contributed 116 community volunteer hours.
