Bobby Kachel's eighth inning home run carried the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh baseball team to a 4-3 win in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of UW-Platteville at Tiedemann Field on Saturday.

The Pioneers had tied the score in the top of the seventh inning and the game stayed knotted until Kachel led off the eighth with his ninth home run of the year.

Ian Zahn, who pitched three innings of shutout relief for the win, retired UW-Platteville in order in the ninth to complete the sweep. ...
