Joe Collins told a business audience Monday two simple steps may be all it takes to prevent most property theft, especially from one's car.

Keep your car doors locked and don't have valuable items visible, the Two Rivers police chief said at The Chamber of Manitowoc County-sponsored "Business Connects with Government" luncheon at the Holiday Inn.

Collins and Manitowoc Deputy Police Chief Bridget Brennan shared statistics and perspectives as part of their presentation titled, "Updates and Trends in Community Crime." ...
