Neillsville baseball takes over first place in Cloverbelt

SPENCER - The Neillsville baseball team took over sole possession of first place in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division with a 4-1 victory over Spencer behind a five-hitter from winning pitcher Neal Matson who struck out six.

Both teams entered the contest unbeaten in the conference.
