Marshfield student earns Scouting's top honor

Marshfield High School junior Brad Schroeder has earned his Eagle Scout rank.

Eagle Scout is the highest honor in Boy Scouting, which only about 5 percent of Scouts earn. He joined the scouting program in first grade as a Tiger Cub with Pack 392 at the age of 6 and upon becoming a Boy Scout, he joined Troop 392, where he has been a member since fifth grade.

To achieve this rank, Brad has earned 27 merit badges and has served in leadership positions in his troop. His current position for the troop is quarter master. In his years of scouting, Brad has spent many nights camping, hiking ...
