Police are searching for a woman who cut another woman with a broken bottle during an altercation outside an Oshkosh tavern early Saturday morning.

A 27-year-old woman had stepped outside The Dark Horse Bar and Grill, 120 Wisconsin St., to smoke a cigarette when another woman used a broken bottle to hit her in the face and cut her arm, said Joe Nichols, spokesman for the Oshkosh Police Department.

The injured woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center for lacerations on her face and arm that required stitches.

The other woman ran off and could not be located, Nichols said. She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds with shoulder-length blonde hair.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Oshkosh Police Department, (920) 236-5700.
