Caretaker: Plover fire could be a hate crime

A fire that destroyed a home in the village of Plover might have been the product of a hate crime, sources say.

The fire at an unoccupied home at 3711 Post Road in Plover on April 26 is under investigation, Plover Police Chief Dwayne Wierzba said.

Wierzba said he couldn't discuss the investigation and didn't list any suspects or persons of interest in the case. ...
