Nay-osh-ing Chapter, Plover, Daughters of the American Revolution met recently at Shooters.

Shannon Moore, secretary, presented an interesting Powerpoint program in keeping with women's issues. She participated in the annual Avon Breast Cancer Walk in Chicago. There are Avon walks held in eigh major cities every year: Houston, Boston, Washington, D.C., Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Charlotte, New York and Chicago.

Eligibility requires each participant, 18 years and older, to raise at least $1,800, or 16 years of age, with parental consent, needs to raise $500. She also explained ...
