The next meeting for the Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter K will be May 14 at Hooligan's in Plainfield. The meeting will start at 6 p.m., but come at 5 p.m. to join us for dinner and to socialize.

As GWRRA has grown, the "FUN" has increased tremendously. All around the world, members meet to ride, socialize and have fun. As diverse as the membership is, so are the fun activities. One such activity is our Dust Off Weekend. Dust off your bike that has been sitting all winter and join us for this fun-filled weekend. Whether you ride on two or three wheels, this is a perfect chance to see what being a member of GWRRA is all about.

Dust Off is May 17 to 19 at the Silver Springs Campground in Rio. There will be camping, cabins or hotels available. Friday and Saturday there will be a DJ, and we will enjoy sitting around the campfire. Friday night is a fish fry, and Saturday is an ethanol plant tour and various rides. Come join us for the entire weekend or just part of it.

Other activities this month are a Brat Fry on May 4th in Fond du Lac and Randolph, the Medford smelt feed on May 10, a tire-kicking on May 11 in Janesville, a mall show on May 11 in La Crosse and a Minnesota bluff ride on May 25 and 26.

For more information about Chapter K and GWRRA, call Dave or Cheryl Freeman, membership coordinators, at 715-213-3533 or Don or Cheri Walloch, Chapter K directors, at 715-459-2449.
