Nature lovers can revel in the fact that spring has gone to the birds.

May is one of the best months for birdwatching in Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Residents and researchers have observed more than 400 species in the state.

"This time of year, the grosbeaks, the orioles and the bluebirds are coming back, so (people are) trying to draw those," said Chuck Moody, co-owner of Quality Feed and Seed in Wisconsin Rapids. ...
