May 7, 1959 - Frankie Avalon stops at café in Suamico: Frankie Avalon, a favorite singer of the teenage group, stopped at the Tall Pine Restaurant in Suamico Wednesday evening for supper.

Avalon, who was alone, was en route to an engagement in Menominee, Mich. He told the restaurant operator that he and his troupe, traveling separately, would stop there Sunday for supper. He is scheduled to appear in Green Bay Sunday night.
