Green Bay police are looking for a male in connection with two recent armed robberies on the city's east side.

La Juadalupana Two grocery store, 2030 E. Mason St., was robbed at about 11 p.m. Monday, and the Pick & Roll gas station located just to the east at 2115 Main St. was held up at about 11 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Police believe both incidents are related. The suspect is described as a black male with short hair, about 5-foot-9 with a slim build. The suspect had his face covered during both robberies and was armed with a shotgun.

Police are advising business owners to make sure stores have a lot of lighting and windows are uncovered. Also, surveillance equipment should be in working condition and produce high-quality video. Owners also are urged to get license plates of any suspect vehicles.

Authorities ask that anyone with information call Green Bay police at (920) 448-3200 or can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (920) 432-STOP (7867). Tips can be submitted online at www.432stop.com or by texting GBTIP plus a message to 274637 (CRIMES).
