An Oshkosh woman was arrested early Saturday morning after she went into the wrong residence, made a sandwich and fell asleep next to a dog.

Oshkosh Police received a call at 12:26 a.m. from a homeowner in the 1200 block of Walnut Street who reported that the woman was sleeping in the spare bedroom. The homeowner woke up after hearing a commotion and contacted police after trying unsuccessfully to wake the woman up, said Joe Nichols, spokesman for the Oshkosh Police Department.

The woman told police she was coming from a friend's house and thought she was at a residence in the 300 block of Oxford Avenue.

The woman was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. She had parked her vehicle half in the street and half in the driveway of a residence two doors down, Nichols said.
