Get Checking workshop offered May 15

Get Checking will be offered Wednesday, May 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Capital Credit Union, 2495 Jackson St., Oshkosh. The educational program can help those such as young adults who have not yet opened a checking account or provide a fresh start to consumers who have had past problems with their account. Participants who successfully complete the course receive a certificate that they may take to any of the participating financial institutions and an account can be opened under agreed-u pon conditions.

Participating Financial Institutions include: BMO Harris, Capital Credit Union, CitizensFirst Credit Union, Community First Credit Union, East Wisconsin Savings Bank, Evergreen Credit Union, Great Midwest Savings Bank, Kim Central Credit Union, North Shore Bank, Prospera Credit Union, Unison Credit Union and UW Credit Union.

Pre-registration is required.
