Dozens of residents living and working near Wausau's Athletic Park told city leaders Tuesday they're excited about the $2.7 million rebuild of the baseball field and the addition of a neighborhood park, but some are worried about traffic and parking problems.

Wisconsin Woodchucks owner Mark Macdonald announced last month that he would finance the multimillion-dollar ballpark renovation and also pledged $20,000 and two properties, together worth $85,000, to the neighborhood park project. The city plans to spend roughly $315,000 to build a neighborhood park on the block.
