A 50-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man injured in a motorcycle crash is in critical condition at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Richard A. Manke was riding his motorcycle south on 80th Street South, just to the south of Whitrock Avenue, in Grand Rapids, at 10:09 p.m. Sunday, when he lost control and fell, according to the Wood County Sheriff's Department Accident Report.

Emergency personnel transported Manke to the Marshfield hospital, where he remained in critical condition Tuesday.

Manke was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the report. It lists inattentive driving, failure to have control of a vehicle and driver condition as factors in the crash.
