Have you seen the wetland in spring? Dip a net into a magical world to learn about the animals and plants that call it home. Dress for the weather and for getting damp. Meet at the nature center.

? 8 to 9 a.m. - Birding at Weborg Point
Redstarts, orioles and osprey are on the wing. Take a naturalist-led walk to a migration hot spot. Bring binoculars if you have them. Meet at Weborg Shelter; park in the adjacent day-use lot.
? 2:30 to 3 p.m. - Garlic Mustard Pull
Lend a hand to remove invasive garlic mustard and barberry plants encroaching the black ash swamp. Bring gloves if you have them. Meet at the nature center.
? 10 to 11:30 a.m. - Hemlock Trail
Trek past Weborg Marsh, rich with birds and frogs, through a hemlock woods, then up a low bluff on a moderate, two-mile hike. Meet at Weborg Shelter; park in the adjacent day-use lot.
? 9 to 10:30 a.m. - Redstart Round-up Workshop
Celebrate Migratory Bird Month by learning about redstarts and other migratory birds at this hands-on workshop. Includes time birding at Weborg Point and a chance to see "stuffed" warblers up close. Free redstart posters for participants, and a redstart patch and educational newspaper from the International Migratory Bird Foundation are available for $2. For all ages and birding levels. ? 1 to 1:30 p.m. - Let's Meet the Robin
Did you know robins are related to bluebirds? Learn the telltale signs of this member of the thrush family, then take a walk to look for robins at the wooded edge of the meadow and learn this bird's "cheerio" song. Meet at the nature center.

Potawatomi State Park, 3740 County PD, is on the shore of Sturgeon Bay just west of the city. Gently rolling upland terrain is bordered by steep slopes and rugged limestone cliffs. The park has more than 1,200 acres of forest, a campground, trails and access to Sawyer Harbor. A state vehicle admission sticker is required for motorized vehicles.
