TAP holds recital for students in state contest

Selected students from Door County's four mainland high schools who performed in the Wisconsin School Music Association State Solo and Ensemble Festival will give a recital at 2 p.m. May 11 at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay.

Students must earn a "starred first" rating in Class A (the most difficult music) at a WSMA District Music Festival to qualify for state. Participants in grades 6 to 12 can choose from a variety of instrumental and vocal solo and ensemble categories for their performances.
