Exhibit of lighthouse paintings opens at maritime museum

The Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay celebrates the Peninsula's towering icons with a new art exhibit titled "The Lighthouse Show."

It opens May 11, featuring the works of a number of Door County outdoor painters, including Bill Doyle, Sally Everhardus, Glenn Gerber, Barbara Kenyon, Jim Leatham, Randy Rasmussen and Rob Williams. The show runs through June 23, which means it will be up during the museum's annual Door County Lighthouse Festival from June 7 to 9.
