University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire sophomore Thurgood Dennis dominated the sprints at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's outdoor track and field championships for a second consecutive season.
After defending his 100- and 200-meter dash titles on Saturday, the Allouez native was named national athlete of the week for NCAA Division III by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday.
