Walker, state on right track with school choice

There is no question as to how important a child's education is to his/her future. Therefore, it should be the decision of the child's family as to where the child receives his/her education. A family's income should not keep a child from having the same opportunities as other children. Children are our future, if we can't invest more into them, then we are going to jeopardize their future. Wisconsin is on the right track with Gov. Scott Walker's budget.

Walker is planning to expand school choice throughout Wisconsin, which means he is expanding opportunity for a brighter future for our children. A child should not feel as though they cannot achieve success just because they cannot afford to go to a certain school. Quality education should be an option for all, and school choice does just that. I am excited to see that Walker has made this a priority of his, as it demonstrates how invested he is to help move this state toward a successful future.
