De Pere has gotten a bit sweeter since The Cupcake Couture opened Saturday, May 4.

Creator, baker, sweets artist and owner Michelle Axford has brought a touch of delicious mixed with creativity to downtown.

After operating her cupcake and catering business out of her De Pere home since 2012, Axford made her dream come to fruition by opening the gourmet cupcake store at the northwest corner spot in the historic Lee Building at 124 N. Broadway. ...
