Pecor Street update

Underground construction still continues on Pecor Street with installation of the new sewer main.

Deep construction and wet soils continue to be a challenge.

The project now heads west out of the Superior Avenue intersection, with hopes to start reconstruction of the road surface on Thursday, May 9 or Monday, May 13 at the latest. The goal is to get the businesses open and free of construction east of Superior Avenue as soon as possible.

A second crew is schedule to be in on Tuesday, May 7, and will start work at the Pecor and Farnsworth intersection.

The Department of Public Works asks residents to avoid these areas to keep the project running smoothly.

Please call Jeremy Wusterbarth with questions or concerns at 834-7725.
