Today looks like it will be the last nice day this week before rain and cooler temperatures move into the area, according to the National Weather Service of Green Bay.

The Manitowoc-area forecast for today calls for sunny skies, with a high near 68 degrees and calm winds becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Tonight should be partly cloudy, with a low around 45 degrees and southeast winds from 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Showers are likely and a thunderstorm is possible Thursday, with temperatures dropping into the 50s and staying cooler throughout the weekend. Showers also are possible Thursday night, Friday and Saturday.
