Sheboygan man who accused police of brutality arrested again

A 37-year-old Sheboygan man who last month accused a police officer of excessive force and racism was arrested Tuesday and is now facing criminal charges after police were called to his apartment three times in the same day.

According to a criminal complaint, Sheboygan police were initially called to 1320 Maryland Avenue for a report of a noise disturbance, and the man, Angelo Merritt, received a warning for allegedly playing his music too loud.
