ST. PAUL, Minn. - The body of a D.C. Everest High School graduate has been recovered from the Mississippi river, nearly three months after she was reported missing.

St. Paul resident Kira Trevino was reported missing Feb. 22. Her husband, Jeffery Trevino, 39, of St. Paul, was charged in her death after police found massive amounts of blood and human tissue in the couple's home.

The body was discovered at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday under a barge south of the Robert Street Bridge in Minneapolis, St. Paul Police Cmdr. Brian Coyle said at a news conference Thursday. The Ramsey County Medical ...
