Dave Mason doesn't wear the national championship ring he earned for helping the Nebraska football team to a national championship in 1971.

It's just not his style.

"I can't remember the last time I wore it," said Mason, who was asked to put the ring on for a recent photoshoot. "To me, and different strokes for different folks, but for me it's too ostentatious. ...
