Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is making his prime-time acting debut.
He'll be on the "The Office" at 8 p.m. tonight on NBC, where No. 12 will play a judge for a singing competition called "The Next Great A Cappella Sensation.'' Clay Aiken and Mark McGrath also guest star in the one-hour episode.
Rodgers has expressed interest in hosting "Saturday Night Live" on his weekly radio show, but so far that invitation has not been extended. The Packers' new $110 million man has appeared in a number of television commercials most notably for State Farm Insurance, Pizza Hut and Ford Trucks.
» "Lion King'' a roaring success: It was another sold-out run for "The Lion King'' at Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton. Disney's touring musical grossed more than $4.7 million during a four-week run that ended Sunday, playing to more than 61,000 people during 32 shows.
It was the second time the show sold out the PAC. Its six-week Wisconsin premiere at the venue in 2007 was also a sellout.
