Editor: Congressman Sean Duffy gave a passionate speech where he strongly condemned violence against women and children. You can see it by going to YouTube and type in "Congressman Duffy on Gosnell Trial."
When Duffy was a prosecuting attorney, he aggressively prosecuted crimes against women and children and is keeping his campaign promises to defend those who cannot defend themselves.
Duffy pointed out that the press ignores the atrocities happening under the guise of "women's health" and chastised Obama for supporting abortionists and even going so far as to ask God to bless them.
The horrors of the Gosnell clinic are too many to describe in this letter, but he did hundreds of illegal late-term abortions and often did it by inducing labor and then killing the viable babies. His favorite "procedure" was called snipping, where he opened the back of the neck of the babies born alive and then "snipped" the spinal cord. Others were drowned.
I join with our Congressman in asking, "Where is the outrage? Where are the people?"
Violent crimes are being committed against women, children and minorities, and the groups who claim to defend all of these are silent.
All of this was brought out in Gosnell's trial while the seats reserved for the press were empty. The case is in the hands of the jury at this time, and we can only hope and pray for justice and don't forget to thank God for decent, caring courageous people like Congressman Duffy.
