One-day food drive can produce incredible results

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) and the National Rural Letter Carriers Association (NRLCA) have conducted a one-day food drive in the Greater Oshkosh and rural areas for 18 years. This year's drive will take place Saturday, May 11. Non-perishable food items should be placed by the mail box by 8:30 a.m. for pick up by letter carriers.

The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is truly a community effort, involving postal customers who donate the items, the letter carriers, their families and other volunteers who gather the food and stock the shelves at the area food pantries. Food ...
