Wisconsin funnymen present 'Cheeseball Comedy'

Comedian Steve Hartman has a very interesting, adults-only take on some Wisconsin city and town names, (you won't think of Minocqua and Tomahawk the same way after hearing it). He's the newest standup comedian making the rounds across the state as part of the Cheeseball Comedy Tour, stopping at Hoffman House in the Best Western Midway Hotel on Friday.

Hartman will take the stage along with veteran standup comedian Rob Brackenridge, who couldn't shake his thick Wis-cahn-sin accent while he lived for more than 20 years in Los Angeles. He serves as the master of ceremonies, between comedians.

Mike Merryfield has performed for years in the Appleton area. All three have Wisconsin roots and poke a little fun at the phrases that natives use, something they call Wisconics. Other bits will touch on relationships, health and daily life.

Tickets cost $10 each. It is a show for adults.
