Manitowoc man gets probation, jail in sixth OWI

Manitowoc County Circuit Judge Jerome Fox on Tuesday stayed a 35-year-old Manitowoc man's prison sentence for his sixth-offense operating while intoxicated.

Fox stayed a three-year prison sentence followed by three years extended supervision for Steven L. Groelle, 1234 S. 18th St., and placed him on three years of probation. Conditions of probation include paying $1,953 and spending one year in jail, with work-release privileges, starting immediately.
