The Wisconsin Student Assessment System consists of the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examination, taken by nearly all students in the designated grades, and the Wisconsin Alternate Assessments for Students with Disabilities, taken by a small percentage of students with severe cognitive disabilities.
