Prep girls soccer roundup: Valders tops host Kewaunee in OT

Angela Brandl scored twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime to help the Valders girls soccer team earn its fourth win in a row by beating host Kewaunee 3-2.

Brandl got the Vikings (4-3) back in the game after Kewaunee took a 2-0 lead into halftime, scoring in the 61st minute before teammate Sydney Gutman scored at the tail end of regulation in the 80th minute to force overtime.

The winning score was set up Paige Neumeyer gained possession at midfield for Valders, battled down the sideline to the end line and sent in the cross to the front of the net which Brandl converted with 17 seconds ...
