Down 2-0 for most of the game, the Manitowoc Lutheran baseball team rallied to score five runs in the bottom of the sixth to defeat visiting Valders on Thursday 5-2.

Peter Menges started for the Lancers and allowed a run in each of the first two innings to the Vikings but settled down after that going the distance for the win. Menges scattered six hits over seven innings allowing two runs - both earned - while striking out four and walking one.
