When Johnathan Franklin packed his bags and headed to Green Bay this week, the UCLA running back did so without any intention of leaving.

That came as news to some after reports circulated last week suggesting the 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back would be able to take part only in this weekend's rookie orientation because of the NFL's graduation policy.

However, Franklin refuted that notion Friday on the first day of the team's camp when he said he graduated from UCLA last June with his degree in political science, making him eligible for the upcoming organized team activities and minicamp. ...
