Packers sign 9 of 11 draft picks, 9 rookie free agents

As the Green Bay Packers opened rookie orientation camp on Friday afternoon, they announced the signing of nine of their 11 draft picks and nine undrafted rookie free agents.

Only defensive end Datone Jones, their first-round pick, and running back Eddie Lacy, their second round pick, remain unsigned.

The draft picks signed are tackles David Bakhtiari and J.C. Tretter, running back Johnathan Franklin, cornerback Micah Hyde, defensive end Josh Boyd, linebackers Nate Palmer and Sam Barrington, and wide receivers Charles Johnson and Kevin Dorsey.

The undrafted rookie free agents signed are quarterback Matt Brown (Illinois State), wide receiver Myles White (Louisiana Tech), running back Angelo Pease (Kansas State), fullback Ryan Roberson (Texas), tight end Jake Stoneburner (Ohio State), center Patrick Lewis (Texas A&M), guard Lane Taylor (Oklahoma State), defensive tackle Gilbert Pena (Mississippi) and linebacker Andy Mulumba (Eastern Michigan).

The Packers also have 27 players in the camp on tryouts.

On offense, they are wide receivers Horatio Williams (Florida State), Justin Wilson (Delaware State) and Tyrone Walker (Illinois State); running back Joe Glendening (California, Pa.); fullback Jonathan Amosa (Washington); tight end John Rabe (Minnesota); center Blake McJunkin (SMU); guards Ryan Clanton (Oregon) and Matt Cleveland (Idaho); tackle Jeremy Vujnovich (Louisiana College); and long snapper James Winchester (Oklahoma).

On defense, they are defensive ends Colton Miles-Nash (Arkansas), Jason Thompson (Fort Valley State), Trent Allmang-Wilder (UNLV) and Donte Savage (New Mexico State); defensive tackles Aaron Davis (SMU) and Castro Masaniai (Oregon State); linebackers Victor Aiyewa (Washington), Jarvis Wilson (Prairie View A&M), Jamal Giddens (Norfolk State), Jordan Glass (UC Davis) and Ben Obaseki (Indiana State); cornerbacks Brandon Smith (Arizona State), Aaron Grymes (Idaho) and Devin Willis (Northern Arizona) and safeties Cedrick Moore (Stony Brook) and Ryan McMahon (Sacramento State).
