West expected to fill coaching vacancies next week

Wausau West is expected to name a cross country, baseball and boys basketball coach next week with the latter reportedly being Nate Lemmens.

Mark Miller of Wisconsin Sports Network tweeted Friday afternoon that West had hired the Milwaukee Hamilton assistant - and brother of Rhinelander boys coach Derek Lemmens - but West athletic director Dan Hein did not confirm any hire, saying nothing is official until a candidate accepts a teaching position and the school then offers the coaching position.
