Blessings in a Backpack is a nonprofit organization aiming to help support students at D.C. Everest Elementary schools who might face hunger on the weekends.

A book fair is planned from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 11 at Barnes & Noble in Rib Mountain to raise money. Shoppers who use a special voucher at checkout will direct a portion of their purchase price to the program.

Vouchers will be available at Barnes & Noble the day of the sale.
