Local 4-H'er attends national conference

Steven Roets, back row, center, represented Lincoln County April 6 to 11 as one of eight Wisconsin youths at the National 4-H Conference in Washington, D.C. More than 270 youths and adults from across the country exchanged ideas, and developed recommendations to help guide the future of 4-H programs nationally and in their communities. After roundtable discussions, delegates gave presentations to federal agencies to recommend innovative change and represent youth voices. Delegates met with their legislators on Capitol Hill Day to discuss state 4-H programs with congressional members and their staffs.
