Horizons Elementary School stages Civil War

Students participate in a Civil War reenactment at Horizons Elementary School in Appleton, Wisconsin. About 230 students from Horizons, Janet Berry and Highlands Elementary schools participated in a Civil War reenactment and other activities. The day reinforces concepts taught in the 5th grade social studies curriculum and allows students to learn more about the Civil War through a hands-on living history day.
