Local leaders deploy to Madison

About 75 adults and, for the first time, about 15 high school students from Door and Kewaunee counties plan to travel to Madison this week for a day and a half of lobbying lawmakers regarding key local issues.

Door-Kewaunee Legislative Days is an every-other-year effort by residents, elected officials, business owners and other stakeholders to bring a locally agreed-upon agenda of county issues directly to state elected officials and government agency leaders.
