Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay is up and running again.

The 18-hole course opened for the season today with Mike Pfannenstiel and Carl Beckstrom operating it through a lease from Baylake Bank, which took ownership of the course last September.

"It hasn't had the best reputation in recent years, but hopefully with us leasing it we can turn the name around and bring Cherry Hills back to good standing in the community," said Pfannenstiel. "It's going to take a lot of support from the community, past members and the general public to make it work. Hopefully, we can turn things back around ...
