The Eagle Walking Trail is a great place to take a walk. This beautiful new walking trail on the grounds of Southern Door Schools was created by donations from generous community organizations and volunteers. The trail is open to the public before and after school hours and on the weekends.

To access the trail, park in the lot by the Waniger Schoolhouse and Schoolyard Garden. The trail loops to the playground or you can take a longer walk through the School Forest and past the pond.

The second phase that will connect the wood trail to the rest of the Eagle trail is not complete at this time, but you can either double back through the woods for another scenic look or walk on the lawn to reconnect with the trail by the playground. It is a beautiful way to get fit and enjoy nature.
