Maxwelton Braes Women's Golf League will celebrate its 20th anniversary this season of playing in an organized league. This group enjoys the late afternoon and early evening schedule and the camaraderie of adjourning to a favorite spot to enjoy dinner. The season starts gently, giving members a chance to warm up.

There will be an organizational meeting at 2 p.m. May 30. The meeting will be followed by a "play for fun" practice round. Arrive at 2:30 p.m. June 6 to be ready for a 3 p.m. tee-off. This is the first day of regular play to continue weekly through Sept. 12.

Sept. 19 will be the closing event and banquet. Every year they need to add new members as former members move away or can no longer play. If you would like to become a member or need more information, call Marilyn Peterson, secretary, at (920) 854-4657.

Happy day, moms
