Authorities are working to identify human remains found in Taylor County but have released few new details about the discovery.

Lincoln County officials were notified of the discovery of the remains on Friday. The remains were discovered in a wooded area just off Highway C near Medford; investigators closed a portion of the highway for several hours Friday as they worked to collect evidence, police said.
