Brown County Republicans have been nudged by their state party leaders to begin choosing delegates in a manner that is a little more democratic.

The move comes after Brown County delegates were rejected at a GOP caucus in March because they had been appointed rather than elected.

The Wisconsin Republican Party requires that local party organizations choose their delegates through votes of the general membership. ...
