Daffodils are the springtime gift that just keeps on giving for Irene and Al Hostak, who planted close to 800 bulbs in their Green Bay yard many years ago. The appeal? They heard deer don't eat them. (Many a frustrated gardener knows the same can't be said for tulips.) "Over the years, the clumps have increased in size, and we now have wonderful color at this time of year."
